Ellen Papa, founder of Music That's Mine, Inc., has been personally moved by music her entire life. When Ellen was the Musical Director for a local youth theater organization, she took some of her acclaimed cast of "Annie" to the Children's Hospital in Richmond and was moved by the truly positive reaction from the hospitalized children. Even the sickest children seemed visibly and physically moved by the musical performance. Ellen was then determined to form an organization that would allow sick children access to music that would be personally meaningful to them--where the music would give comfort, joy and peace during their most challenging times. Ellen founded Music That's Mine, Inc. 5 years ago and has raised money through her camp that has been acclaimed as 'one of the best youth performing arts camps' in Richmond! She has built a music library for Richmond's Children's Hospital, and would like to help other hospitals and organizations, but has the greatest requests from individuals in need all over the country. Ellen would also like to expand the organization's efforts to help autistic children, the elderly, and those that are passing....focusing on patients in the Richmond, Va. area.
